United States of America Department of Defense United States Military Academy, West Point Summer Leaders Seminar Class of 2006
As always, I do not post pictures of myself on the Internet. P.S. I was told flat out by cadets and officers that admission officers do read livejournals. Therefore, I will not brag about my experience. West Point was incredible, and it has opened my eyes. The cadets there are incredible, and they are real men and women. I will try to lead a different life, and I will strive to become a better person. Duty, honor, country. Perhaps... | | Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 | | 3:37 pm |
Good job to all those who took the SATs today. Congrats to everyone who surived all those AP tests, a whole year of hardcore classes and the SATs. A few finals, and then everyone can crash. The gruesome junior year is almost over! | | Thursday, May 18th, 2006 | | 9:00 pm |

Thank you people. I love the world. Someone out there is a very noble person. I am eternally thankful to you. Thank you for turning in my USB drive. I would have lost all of my work since September without you. | | Tuesday, March 21st, 2006 | | 8:56 pm |
Freckin awesome!!! I'm going to Westpoint this summer! Trust me. America does not need me in the military. Not a good idea. At least I'm not Theron. I don't tk. | | Sunday, March 12th, 2006 | | 1:41 pm |
"Bookshelves still tease and tantalize but like a woman with a divining rod, I know where the water will be" That was from a real SAT I test. I detect a hint of sexual connotation. Or am I just seeing things. If I'm not, then this is certainly a first for the collegeboard. | | Friday, March 10th, 2006 | | 2:15 pm |
"Achieving financial eudaimonia demands two things: Knowing what you want to accomplish with your life, and then finding the discipline, patience, persistence, frugality, creativity, and sense of humor to make your money conform to your goals. Happiness is measured in the achievement of values and priorities, rather than how we feel at any given moment. The only way to measure financial happiness is to track your progress toward goals that are uniquely about you and your purpose in life. So, yes, don't waste a day being unhappy. Just know that sometimes what makes you happy is not what makes you flourish." | | Tuesday, February 21st, 2006 | | 11:47 am |
This is a wierd phenomenon. It seems that the more avaliable females there are, the harder it is to get intimate with one. Anyways, the LEO dance on Friday was awesome except for the above mentioned phenomenon. And I can't get the picture of this girl out of my mind. She wore a killer dress on Friday, and I've been thinking about that dress from then on. God I need to focus on life of a junior and control my hormones. I didn't want to write this, but Max's post inspired me. | | Thursday, February 9th, 2006 | | 10:46 am |

All right. Let's put a stop to the "emo" nature of live journals. Let's discuss some current events. Iran's current president is a hardcore fundmentalist who is trully aiming to become a nuclear power. There's only 7 countries on Earth that have declared nuclear weapons. Pretty soon, it'll be nine with North Korea and Iran if they succeed. Blame it on the Chinese. They supplied the technology for Pakistan to obtain their nukes, and they helped the Iranians out too. But, even China and Russia are supporting the UN in putting a stop to the uranium enrichment procedures. However, the UN "frog-leap approach" is too slow. According to Israel, the Iranians may be only a year or two away from obtaining a bomb. Therefore, Eurasia is seriously concerned. The Iranians have ballistic missiles that can strike as far as Italy and parts of France (damn the Ukarianians for selling those advanced missiles). The day they obtain those war heads and fit them onto their ballistic missiles, the world's screwed. Guess where the missiles will hit? The new president constantly calls for "the complete destruction of Israel". The Israellis are seriously concerned. Israel is an undeclared nuclear power, and have the best air force in the world in terms of skills. To counter the Iranian threat, they've recently acquired two advanced subs from Germany with nuclear cruise missile capabilities. The Germans have always made the best subs, and we can except both Israel and Iran to be wiped off the face of the Earth the moment Iran fires its first nuke. MAD policies does not work for Iran, as the allyatolahs and the president are mad. To stall Iran's quest for nukes, Israel is proposing a massive air strike against Iran's nuclear facilities. However, the combat radius of Isreal's most combat-capable aircrafts are exactly half the distance to Iran. Therfore, they can get there but can't get back. Israel's five ancient fuel tankers cannot refuel the hundreds of aircraft that would need to be involved. Too bad the Isrealis do not have aircraft carriers. No matter what, Israel will ahve a hard time. The Iranians learned from Saddam's mistakes. All of their nuclear facilities are buired deep under ground. Fortunate, the Isrealis have more than 100 American bunker-blaster bombs. They are confident that they can "cripple" the Iranians, but they may loose many aircraft and men. Iran's new Mig 29 Falcums are a match for anything the West has to throw at them. What should we do? Should we launch our own airstrikes against Iran using stealth, or whould we continue our tradition of supplying Isreal with all the weapons they want? Should we lend-lease an aircrat carrier to Israel? What do you guys think about the situation? | | Wednesday, February 1st, 2006 | | 4:14 pm |
I went to Mrs Kadletz to show her my nonfiction book after school today. Naturally, I said "see you tommorow". She looked at me wierdly and said real seductively while batting her eyelashes "no I'll see you tonight". I think she's just trying to remind me of the movie night. I don't even want to think otherwise. | | Tuesday, January 31st, 2006 | | 5:11 pm |
Coretta Scott King, we mourn your death. Like your husband and so many others, you've shown us real courage. You shall be remembered for your contributions to the advancement of mankind. | | Wednesday, January 25th, 2006 | | 7:36 pm |
True guy, true story. "In translation to English, it sounds like...the word...you know...sometimes language is not so convenient and sometimes I'm embarrassed." Fuk King Kwok, a Chinese immigrant, on his decision to change his name to Andy Kwok after people repeatedly mispronounced his name. Haha. I got that from newsweek. | | 2:11 pm |
I know some of you out there are pretty sensitive regarding gender issues, but I am going to do another post. This is going to contridict my previous post, but I just read and realized that men are falling behind women. According to studies, boys are twice as likely to be diagnosed with learning disabilities and twice as likely to be placed in special-ed classes in elementary school. High school boys are falling behind as well, and this can be represented by the ratio of girls to boys in AP and honor classes. Thirty years ago, men represented 58 percent of college students, but they are now at a minority of 44 percent. Some experts say that the cause for the current situation was that midguided feminism of the 1990s. In the 90s, girls were making steady progress toward overtaking the boys, but feminsit educators portrayed them as disadvantaged and lavished them with support and attention. Boys, meanwhile, whose achievement rates were faltering, were ignored and left behind. Budget cuts and limited PE and recess have contained the natural male desire to explore and express disorganized, maddening, and at times brillian behaviors. The problem starts in kindergarden, as boys are more impulsive and sruggle to control a pencil or a paintbrush. They feel left behind, and they do not feel motivated to do better. This in turn creates a cycle that impede boys from doing better. Basically, girl behavior has become the gold standard, and boys are treated like defective girls. In addition, primates face off against each other rather than appear weak, and boys are usually unwilling to seek necessary help. Boys usually get behind and never catch up. Video games may also contribute to the trend as the games naturally absorb time from youngsters. Girls also mature younger than boys, and the head start makes them seem superior in every way. Girls use their brians more efficiently too (based on MRI studies). So, anyone who says that girls are inferior are plain mad. If the current situation proceeds, the gap shall continue to widen. It is true that the top jobs are still held by men, but for how much longer? There are ever more female CEOs and presidents in the world. With the majority of boys lagging behind, women shall soon replace men as leaders. If this continues, natural selection shall benefit the women more and more and disfavor the men. So, in a few centuries will women be running the show? Will men just be needed in small numbers for reproduction purposes only? This is interesting, as men will probably be treated like women were once treated. | | 2:01 pm |
